At first I was very happy with my purchase and later even bought a second one for my daughter. It's probably ok if you don't use it as much as my daughter does. She rides her bike less than 8 times a year. Sometimes the clamp would come loose on rough or uneven pavement. So it must be very tight. I do many hours of long rides and clamp loosening is probably not a problem on shorter rides. But check before every ride. I travel at least twice a week on average. My phone was never removed from the holder so that was good. However, after 15 months of use, the plastic broke (see Note 9 crashed on tarmac at 20mph. Luckily I had a protective case on my phone which saved it. I didn't want to risk replacing it again with the same mount I have one did little research and get a quad lock case and mount, it costs more but much cheaper than a replacement phone.
