As usual, my reviews are long. I'm so pissed I waited a year to get this! I had no idea how wrong my cartridge was on my new Audio-Technical AT-LP120 USB. This tool is indispensable. I previously bought a Hudson Hi-Fi protractor but had to return it because the hole was too small to fit my spindle. I couldn't believe that a tool designed to be perfectly centered couldn't fit on the spindle. That's the irony of fate. I turned them down because I thought they were a waste of money. I was wrong. Please choose this tool from the competition as it is superbly designed. The instructions are printed on the back. Do not assume the cartridges are installed correctly. It will be a lifetime investment allowing the cartridges to stay aligned. You need this tool to insert new cartridges. I have to say that the tracking has improved slightly with the equalization, especially when it comes to noise and violin passages. A little misalignment is serious for vinyl preservation, as the needle goes through the grooves at an angle, not straight, so think seriously about it.
