Review on Spectre Performance 6285 Universal Shift by Matt Mosley

Need a small shift boot to fill a hole in our early 70's sports car. A lot of heat and exhaust fumes penetrated through the leather trunk lining. Noticed there was no boot covering the hole in the tunnel where the shifter comes out of the gearbox. I wanted to fix this with a small, simple rubber boot that would fit under the Consul without interference. The Specter 6285 replacement boot was the perfect solution to cover the opening and was very easy to install with the self tapping screws provided. It was a win-win solution to my problem, perfect for plugging the hole, easy to install and very economical. Great little item that solved our problem, thank you. Jack
