This was a fun project for my 5 year old. He attached the pixies to different windows or mirrors and chose 2 more clothespins from each of the 8 sides with pixy figures to decorate next to the pixy. He placed them as if the dwarf were holding the items. They are fairly easy to remove for an adult but can be a bit tricky for children as the backing paper sometimes shows up. They stick to windows or mirrors pretty well, but at least one of them fell off the window. Also, there can be air under the chain, which makes the picture look a little weird at times - I've noticed this on mirrors rather than windows. There were many small objects that my other sons would later cling to in random places. There aren't many decorations for Thanksgiving, so make it fun. I can also leave them at Christmas because gnomes can also be at Christmas! The main thing I liked was that my 5 year old had fun hanging them - I don't really care about their decorative part.
