My first thought was "How cute!” It fits perfectly in the armrest of my recliner. It contains my phone, remote control, TV remote control, Roku remote control, notepad and pen. No, it doesn't shift or move. If your chair is too narrow for your hips, I can see where your hands can tilt it. I don't have this problem. My hands don't touch the tray. It is stable, durable and easy to clean. I'm glad I didn't buy the others with side pockets. Then I would bend down again and again. Everything is within sight and within reach with this tray. The best purchase I've made! Remember this is not a six course meal! Yes, a sandwich and fries will do.
