Bought this for my new road trailer stove to keep mud stains and other critters off of it. It's easy to install. You simply remove the screws on the oven's outer lid, install it over the outlet, and reattach the screws. This model does not use springs to hold it in place, it is held in place by the oven lid. Installation only took about 2 minutes. The sieve covers the spout and the slotted flaps so that no creatures can get into the oven. I've had friends hit hard by mud dauber nests, it's worth the small investment to avoid unwanted surprises later.
