For many years I used hooks in the trees as we often go to the same spot to camp, but this meant I rarely had to use my hammock unless we were in the tent. My father saw them and offered them, so I got them. I used this on our recent hike and I'm in love! They were very easy to use - just pull them out, wrap them around a tree and I had my hammock set up in minutes. The only thing I had to add to both of the extra knots was that even with the trees perfectly spaced, the knots on the lines weren't high enough to hold the hammock up (I'm short too, so the only way I can fit it is that big , but my brother, who is over 6ft tall, still couldn't lift them high enough without new knots). The great thing is that you CAN add knots so it took a few seconds to tie the knots and then I was swinging in my hammock. They are lightweight and not bulky (they fit nicely in the bag I already carry my hammock in). I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a lazy day (or a cozy night!) in nature.
