There are some problems with the product supported HF band from 305 and up, and so my ceiling fan which runs at 303.8 is not supported. In addition, the transmission range is very short and the device had to be placed in a specific place in the hallway in order to work in several rooms. At the same time, the BOND device worked much better to control it remotely. RF range limitations make it less viable to use the same device in multiple rooms. While IR is only used in each room, RF functions in turn require higher power! Make an evaluation call to use before purchasing. On the plus side, the custom scenes work really well with Alexa/Google. The lower priced option would have been better if only used for IR illumination.
