I bought this because I was looking for cable needles (I used to use DPN but my cat lost them all) but this set is great. and I've only used the needle cable once. I can toss it in my bag and always have scissors handy (which you can take on planes by the way!), stash my tapestry needle somewhere (I don't really like the ones in the kit but they work great) and stitch markers (which I like as invisible bobby pins lose). The box is strong enough not to fall apart with my rough handling. Needle caps are excellent. I have patterns that are listed in cm/inches on the tape measure so it's actually perfect so I don't need to convert them :) ETA:
