fits right out of the box. After removing the old gasket and installing a new one, I added coolant and checked for leaks. As this is the original gasket, there were no leaks as expected. I've always bought genuine ACDelco parts for my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ 4x4. great buy and price
