I really like this idea. I've tried other olive oil spouts and all the ones I've tried couldn't control the flow. Olive oil always runs out too quickly and there is nothing you can do about it. This spout puts you in control. I prefer medium settings but I'm sure for some applications it would be better if it was fully open. It's also nice that you can close it completely. This should help reduce oxidation of your olive oil. It is difficult to open and close. You really need to have a firm grip on the underside when rotating the top. There's not much to grab, so it's not easy. I also think it should have a lid. Imagine being away from home for weeks and dust gathering at the olive oil spout. Pooh! So a good device, but still needs some work. but the best I've found so far.
