My wife loves this hair dryer and says it dries her hair faster than the one it replaced. I've read other reviews about it being hard, we didn't. The noise isn't that bad. The controls work perfectly and the attachments work well too, although they can break over time if not treated with care. Please note that this device does not have a foldable handle or retractable cord. Hopefully for the price it will work well for a long time since it lacks these features. I will update the review if necessary.
