As many have said the lotion has a slightly odd smell. But it's not overpowering, doesn't linger, and isn't a synthetic scent (I'm allergic to a lot of synthetic fragrances), so I can deal with that. The lotion works well for me and I could tell that the first time I used it it would take me a while to finish the whole bottle. A little background: I'm 32 years old and I've had to shave my face every day since high school. It's part hormonal and part genetic (thanks mom) and if I went anywhere about 9 hours after shaving, I always felt the need to shave again. This is an example of how fast hair grows. So I decided to risk this lotion and I was super excited for the second week of not getting my usual 5 hour eyeshadow. :) I can't go 48 years without a shave but I feel it's getting closer every day, I see thinner, lighter, shorter hair in the mirror and I can't wait. There may be some hormonal or genetic conditions where this doesn't work, but it does for me.
