The trimmer does its job well. The only problem is that the switch doesn't work intermittently. The batteries have been checked and are fine. The return period of the device has expired, so I disassembled it. I found a large accumulation of hair throughout the device, particularly near the switch. The hair actually isolated the contact from the switch to the motor, causing the inoperability. I cleaned the entire block with a soft brush and compressed air and reassembled. Now it works BETTER than when new. I emailed Wahl explaining the tuft of hair just to let her know the design needed to be altered. I got a "general" reply with instructions on how to clean and oil clippers regularly. Another "well-known" trademark that fell into the great maelstrom and went down the drain and into oblivion.
