I bought this pump because I have several old cars that have been standing still for years. I've finally gotten to the point where I can start rebuilding some of them for use or sale and have found that virtually all of them have damaged brake lines and hardware. I was replacing parts on a 1971 Challenger but was having trouble bleeding the brakes the traditional way. With the help of this pump, I was able to ensure that fresh fluid without air bubbles went into the master cylinder in every corner of the car in less than 30 minutes! I'm thinking of buying another one to use with silicone brake fluid on some long lasting vehicles because I want to avoid the risk of cross contamination.
