Review on 🔧 VOTEX - DP001 Stainless Steel Engine Oil Drain Plug (M14 x 1.5 X 18 MM) - Made in USA with Powerful Neodymium Magnet by Brandon Pratt

Oil drain plug is very tight. The threads appeared to match the stock Ford connector but were much tighter. No visible damage was done as I installed it slowly and constantly checked for cross threads or thread mismatch. The thread was profiled like the original, but was still very difficult to turn. After installation it keeps dripping. I left it running until my next oil change (I do a weekly PMCS regularly so I can watch for oil leaking from the plug) and I had a quart of oil leaking from a blown metal gasket. Unfortunately I really wanted to love this high quality part but I went back to stock. Now I have a good magnetic paperweight and a bag of pucks. Very well made part, just one leak and it looks like it could ruin the oil pan threads.
