So unlike many desktop fans, this one actually plugs into a power source rather than batteries or a USB adapter. I wanted this because other fans can't produce the same amount of airflow as something you plug into the mains. The processing quality is impeccable. The fit and finish are very nice. Looks very stylish. The remote control also had a pleasant heaviness. Just a fantastic looking fan. I found 3 different speeds ideal. At its lowest setting, this fan is incredibly quiet, making it ideal for spaces like the living room. The medium increases the power and gets a little louder. I don't think I'll be using this speed very often. Then, at the highest setting, it actually pumps out a pretty impressive amount of air. It gets louder, but not so loud that you can't hear other people in the room talking. Overall I am very happy with this fan. Once you've seen it in person, you can see where the extra expense went. I am impressed!
