I spent a lot of time researching gaming keyboards and trying to find something that would satisfy my needs and my work. When I first encountered this keyboard I was skeptical, thinking I prefer brown switches (quiet with a penchant for tactile impact); I've never used linear switches before, so while it was risky, it paid off in full. This keyboard is insanely comfortable, quiet and frankly looks amazing.- AESTHETICS: The RGB lighting is incredibly rich and the brushed aluminum finish gives it such a clean look. I like that there are built-in backlight modes/options as I can't download customization software on my work laptop (also a good option for those whose work laptops use Linux as many keyboard light programs are incompatible). KEYS: I appreciate that Corsair chose a cleaner font for the keycaps (a small detail, but it gives the keyboard a cleaner look in my opinion). The keycaps sometimes leave some fingerprints/residues, but this was never very noticeable or bothering to me. PORTS: The keyboard doesn't have a built-in USB or audio port, for which I have to say at least a USB port. would be nice (although I imagine it would be harder with the limitations of a low-profile build). - LOW PROFILE SIDE AND SHIFTERS: I will say that a low profile construction, especially in this case with Cherry MX low profile shifters that have a shorter than usual actuation travel, may not be to everyone's liking. I personally find the switches to be so responsive and keep me from falling, which is good from an ergonomic point of view. However, for others I see that this may seem overly sensitive and introduce additional typos. This was not the case for me at all and overall I would say that this keyboard fully met all my needs.
