This is the second crystal puzzle I've put together, so I have something to compare it to. Since the other one was bought during the holidays and by another company. Pros: - It's literally a puzzle where you have to put the pieces together, which is challenging. The finished product is a cute cat with her kitten that has glitter (if you didn't eat potato chips when assembling! fingerprints will darken it) - they give you a small sticker sheet with three different colored eyes to choose from, red, blue or black for mom and kitten Cons: - No instructions, now if you are looking for a jigsaw puzzle you know that there is no diagram how to assemble the jigsaw puzzle, but it is 3D and all the pieces are included in the box with no indication of which piece where it belongs, except that you use trial and error to put them together. Your best bet is to try to figure out the "edge/outside" pieces and then try to solve them that way. It would be nice to include instructions for those who don't want to make this very tedious, it took me about 3 hours - this is a huge problem, the parts DO NOT BLOCK! So I built the mother cat's legs and body and they just sit on top of each other. The kitten is close, but the mother cat is not. That said, when you hold it in your hands, be prepared for the layers to separate. The finished product is held together by a pole through the whole cat, which takes me to the next horse. - A pole to hold the whole cat together. that does not work. I pocketed it and put the cat on the table for demonstration, and a few minutes later I heard a loud click and the cat's hat came off and the rod stuck out. The lower part of the staff broke off in the cat. The stem screws in with the little plastic wrench you get, so I'm assuming the tension was too tight. After the rod broke I had to take the whole cat apart and glue it together with glue. I have experience with glue and make sure it dries without much glue splattering or showing through the cat. Don't stay to the end with a rod that doesn't work.
