Lengthy discussions with StarTech and Logitech, including tech support requests, have resulted in BOTH companies dragging their feet on the issue, both having pointed out the other and together, albeit separately, stating that approval must be given by Microsoft. Further web research revealed a known, unresolved, and unresolved issue with the Microsoft Bluetooth protocol. Reluctance to spend more dollars to try other mfgs BT dongles and other BT audio adapters. Summary: Do not try to get wireless speakers with this (and probably other) configurations of this or similar devices with (at least) Windows 10. I'm curious if anyone has successfully paid for a Logitech BT audio adapter with a computer with BT > built-in motherboard or the included BT adapter that fits into the card slot. <However, the Logitech Bluetooth audio adapter *works* well with the iDevice and Samsung's built-in Bluetooth. Unfortunately this was not my purpose. CONCLUSION: The fault seems to lie with Microsoft and their apparent intransigence when it comes to addressing (at least mass-identifying) the root cause of the problem. <Note: The same review is presented. for "StarTech.com Mini USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter - Wireless Dongle 10 m (33 ft) Class 2 EDR">
