Review on 🏠 ROBOTIME Miniature Dollhouse - Perfect Gift for Girlfriend by Chris Bertoli

I was looking for a baby toy and came across this set. I'm a handyman but I've never made a set like this before so I bought it right away. I'm also a big fan of the mid-century design of how this small room looks. So I'm halfway done and know enough to post a review. I've finished all the furniture and the guitar and will start on the books and decoration soon. I'm having a good time with it. But my little room looks awful and it's not my fault. Sometimes the instructions cannot be followed. Now I've read reviews saying this before I bought it, so I made sure to read everything from head to toe before starting any project. I thought I understood. However, there is no way to explain things that aren't mentioned or labeled differently on each sheet, instructions that are completely absent, or figure out what non-English words might mean. A good example is the guitar. You have to use the light to poke holes for the guitar strings. One of the pictures shows how to do this on the top of the guitar and on the bottom. But only after you have spent 20 minutes poking holes with a thin wire and bending this light bulb, take a needle that works better, turn it over and see that the holes are already pierced. Why they show the picture they took I don't understand. The rug is awkward too - it tells you to glue it after you've cut out all the pieces - but to what? I used white fabric for the pillow. I ended up just using a sheet of paper. It's ok, but I'd prefer a white piece of muslin. On the other hand, everything is well done. All pieces fit exactly as we all want IKEA to. That seems to do the trick, but since they made me cut out the bulbs to poke holes in the guitar, I'm concerned if the bulb will work now. The set appears to be very well made and I'm looking forward to the final design. I've been working on this day and night for three days, and I reckon there are at least three days left. So there is enough time to play. My work looks a little sloppy. Part bad instructions, part long manicure, part beginner. Keep your nails short for this. Let's see how it will look like in the end. I can even choose a different action. But I want to warn people that the instructions are only as bad as people make them out to be. Definitely nothing for beginners in manual work. But it's also pretty fun, and we'll see how it looks when it's all done.
