I tried to redesign the litter box and put it in the basement bathroom. So I needed some light to make them feel safe to get in there and use them. Toilet buckets call for an overprotective cat mom. I also put them in the basement and my basement is very dark with no natural light or windows and I can walk into my basement very easily and see a very clear path. Well lit when placed in different sockets. 3 on the ground floor and 2 and a small bathroom where the kitty litter is and it is more than adequately lit and very sensitive to light. So if you turn on the light and wave your hand over the light, it works. I no longer have to turn on bright lights and use them a lot more. Lighting to get what I need. Really good buy
