Much better than the black plastic wheel holder sold by another brand. This item is made out of VERY hard plastic and appears to be able to handle the long term weight when equipped and doesn't want to splinter like others do. The only downside is that it only has a small drainage hole right at the bottom, and since the wheel covers that hole, it doesn't really let water through. If you're on very muddy ground, you can put a small piece of board or plywood underneath, but in most places you don't have to.
