I have moderate flat feet and use them as a shoe for working out in the gym or on the treadmill. I use a pair of Brooks Beasts on the road for extra support at the expense of a heavier shoe. I've ridden 425 miles with this pair so far, according to Runner's Studio. If you look at the profile you can see they have about 200 miles to go. Aside from a slight sweat discoloration on the white "mesh" part of the upper and abrasion on the tread, they are practically new. This is of course helped by the fact that I mainly use them as indoor shoes, but still it's a pretty good run for me as I'm pretty picky about shoes. 1/2 sizes are small, but stretch quickly and painlessly without damaging the "regular" size. For people who need extra support and are willing to pay a small price, I highly recommend them.
