Review on Nobsound Precision Passive Controller Preamplifier by Anthony Rael

It replaced the Schiit Sys with a fancy potentiometer that didn't do anything for the first 1/3 turn. It wasn't a precision device. I was very pleased with the quality of this little device. It sits between a Tinker Board with a Volumio/Meridian Explorer2 DAC and an Emotiva Mini-x A-100 in my living room stealth system. The Knobsound output is split so that it is also fed to the Infinity Reference Sub R12. The knob sound is absolutely quiet, which is to be expected from a passive component. The level control is very precise and simply does what it is supposed to. I bought a second Knobsound to use in my bedroom and will likely get two more for additional patio and garage system upgrades, all based on the RPi/Tinker Board Volumio DLNA renderer model.
