I've used them with a Micca RB42 which some people think takes a lot of power. But when I compare this little amp to the 200 watts per channel Sunfire amp, I see very little difference in tone/volume when using it at the table. If you're using it in the living room or far away, a larger amp will help with the "bounce" on the bass, but in my opinion most people will more than get a smaller amp like the Topping PA3 feeding a Micca RB42 be satisfied when used at the table. .
