I bought this for my 11 year old son who suffers from anxiety and ADHD. He has trouble falling asleep at night and this saved his life! I was worried he would get hot while he slept but he had no problem and he loves the duvet not only because it's soothing but because it's soft! The height and weight are perfect for him and he weighs 95 pounds. It feels like it's filled with sand and I didn't notice any shifting of the filling from one end to the other. Because it's sand, it's quieter and less clumpy than pearls or other types of fill. He's sleeping great now and I'm very happy!
