These pads have changed in quality and shape/design. The previous 3 inch griot pads held up much better and didn't warp unless you heated them too much. This new design turns the pads into flying saucers after just 1 use. The center of the pad flattens out and the pad starts to wobble or behave strangely on the DA polisher. The foam then starts tearing from the side as soon as the wobble occurs. I preferred the old design and let myself decide which the heck made me try a cheap set of 3 inch pads that were available for a third of the cost of a pad. The pads are actually much better at adjusting and maintaining their shape after many uses. I'm kicking myself for this because I buy these Griots pads and not the regular ones which are 4.5 stars here on Amazon. The lesson of the day is that you can't just listen to people's opinions on color correction, you simply have to try different products yourself.
