The cotton used for this footie is slightly heavier than what you would find from Carters which makes it great on it's own when baby is at home with the central air set at a 70 degree temp. I don't have to worry about the baby getting cold. The cotton and stitch quality is great and extremely durable and has maintained it's shape/ size through many washes! The snaps are easy and also have held up well. The color is beautiful - not a typical candy pink which gets tedious with little girl clothing!
