Review on 🔌 Wavlink 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub with Power Switches and LEDs: High-Speed Data Transfer for Mac, Laptop, Ultrabook, and Tablet PC by Lamar Vanderburg

Update: 09/09/2017 - Five stars! The support service contacted me and offered to send another hub. Of course I said yes. Got a new one today and tested it extensively. All ports work, switches work, lights work and the video transfer rates to and from each port (compared to this Wavlink 3.0 hub with a similar hub from Sabrent) were definitely 3.0, very fast transfers in every direction. The Wavlink and Sabrent hubs are very similar except for one. Wavlink has better port alignment - stacked like dresser drawers rather than side by side in a straight line - I have a couple of flash drives that are wide and usually occupy adjacent ports - not so with Wavlink - fits in easily. I also have an external Western Digital "My Passport" drive that I run through Wavlink and it works fine. Cherry from customer service was accommodating from the start and made me feel like a valued customer. thanks cherry Original 2 Star Rating: I was upset when I received this because one of the four ports was not working (the third was not working). The switch is lit, but the corresponding port has no power and no function. Although very satisfied with the functionality and transmission speed of others. It's nice to have switches (that light up!) for each port. And the port alignment is good too, allowing wide USB drives to fit in without crowding out adjacent slots. So why not just send it back? For this price it's not worth the trouble. I understand that a certain percentage of any product will fail. I was going to give this item five stars but it's just a disappointment.
