Attention 2018 FX4 owners. This review is for you. First, ignore the feedback from people incorrectly trying to install them by running hex head screws top to bottom. This is a disaster that is about to happen. These pads work great and look great. However, there are some differences from previous years that you won't see in the installation videos. First, be sure to use the spring compressor and rotate the top spring cover 180 degrees. If you're just trying to rotate the entire rack, you'll run into clearance issues. Also, Ford seems to have changed something on the lower strut bolts. No hammer blows or even a hydraulic press will faze them. Therefore you will need to loosen the nuts on the lower arm and apply strong downward leverage on the arm to push the knuckles back in once the spacers are in place. Finally, don't skip the alignment and check the direction of the headlight.
