Skil and Bosch (for this product) are the same company. This SAME table can be purchased from the Skil RAS900 router table for $139. Compare them for yourself, they are EXACTLY the same except you can buy the Skil for $40 LESS. but listen when you really need advice? don't buy either! (laughs) Save some money and buy a $40 Bosch aluminum mounting plate 2610938414 and fit the mount into your current (or new) work surface for A) MUCH less and B) more flexibility than buying this subjectively useless kit -Article (if you just like plastic and rickety worktops?). don't be lazy! Create with your tools! Why even buy a router if you don't know you can use it to make your own (it's like buying a chainsaw and then paying someone else to cut down a tree)? DIY, baby, be bold! There are tons of videos on Youtube showing how easy it is.
