Review on Jiang 2W DIY CIGS Film Flexible Solar 🔆 Panel - Ultra-Thin, Waterproof, Portable Charger with Photovoltaic Solar Cell by Justin Santiago

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Also works well in the shade.

Fairly flexible but not too cheap or flimsy. I'm not sure why they chose a Higo connector for this, but it's easy enough to cut it off and throw it in the trash where every Higo connector should be. In full sun it puts out 9V easily and unlike most panels you can shade most of it and it will still produce juice. I took some pictures to show this and how much current it can. It has a rating of 320, but I saw about 450.1 photos with no load, 1 photo with small LEDs and 1 photo with my hand clearly covering almost the entire panel. I'd say this thing is shade resistant, if it's light outside you're sure to get something. From the photos you can see that everything is rolled up very tightly, but be aware that this takes more effort than you might think when looking at the photos. The thickness is good, doesn't look like it will fall apart easily.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
