On our walk last week I discovered that my 22 year old Fulton winch had finally breathed her last. The crank gears were misaligned and it was very difficult to pull my boat to the bow stop. In fact, on the way home, I worried that he wouldn't be able to keep the boat from slipping back. I decided to do myself a favor and bought a replacement Fulton F2 (#3200) winch. After our walk today I am happy to say that the F2 winch is a very good upgrade. It has 2 speeds to wind up the webbing very quickly and easily and a lower gear to keep the boat easily pulled towards the bow even if the trailer isn't deep enough in the water. The handle itself can be adjusted to multiple positions for maximum effort, and it looks great too!
