Review on ๐Ÿงต Dritz 253 Sewing Machine Needle Inserter and Threader by Summer Hendricks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing little tool

For an embroiderer using an industrial machine with multiple needles, broken needles are a part of everyday life. My machine's needles are spaced about half an inch apart, and with my large, clumsy fingers, trying to replace a broken needle can be a nightmare. My fingers just don't fit comfortably in the space between them. This little tool is a godsend! The tool itself is 3 inches long with a needle holder on one end and a needle threader on the other. The needle is inserted into the end of the holder, which holds it in place so you can insert it into the needle hole with one hand. , and tighten the retaining screw (on the machine) with another one. My particular machine requires the eye of the needle to be 5 degrees off authentic, and this holder gives you leverage to adjust the needle. I didn't use the end of the needle threader as I can still see well enough to do it by hand and my sewing machine has an automatic threading feature, but for those who need it it's a great helper like needle threaders in the past and they work really well. I like to wear them as gifts for my embroidery and quilting/quilting friends. This inexpensive tool will make life easier for both simple darners and experienced seamstresses.

Pros
