Broke after first use

Never worked except once. Part of the needle was bent and despite bending it back never worked again. The only one I use is the side of the hook. You work by holding the needle to tighten it, but the needle seems to fall out until you are just below where the machine needle needs to be inserted. So it's not worth the effort.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Vulgarity

1 click and my brother has a thread

Question: How many words does it take to work on my Brother machine that has an automatic thread built in? Answer: heaps! It's a bunch 'til I got that dritz! The thing WORKS! I no longer have to go blind or go insane knitting my brother. Now the thread goes horizontally. The needle goes vertical and the thread is threaded with a click! I like it!

Pros
  • Looks good

I had to learn a little: Needle Threader

I had to think a little to use the needle threader. In the meantime I bent a piece of steel. This is easy to fix; gently straighten it. I noticed an arrow built into the handle. who looks up. The thread is inserted perpendicular to the needle. Then, once you line up the push wire with the eye of the needle, gently push the thread through the eye. The loop goes through the eyelet and you hook it with a small part of the hook and pull the thread. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Angry

This makes it easier to insert the needle with the flat side.

I use this to change needles on my sewing machine and serger. This makes it easy to insert the needle flat side back, which is a must on both machines, and then hold it while I tighten the screw. On the serger, this takes away the worry of the needle falling into the machine when I take it out and put a new one in. Before I got this little thing, I had all sorts of issues with needle twists and slippage in my fingers on both machines. my sewing machine and serger. I did not attempt to thread…

Check out the YouTube video on how to use it!

At first I thought this wasn't a very good buy. The card's instructions weren't very helpful and it wasn't very intuitive for me to use. I've asked Revain customers how to use it and gotten a lot of very good answers and feedback, but the best advice was to watch YouTube videos on how to use it. Just look for the Dritz Needle Inserter and Threader and a few pop-ups. I saw the shortest one first and didn't need to see the rest. I felt stupid for not figuring it out myself, but I like this little

Amazing little tool

For an embroiderer using an industrial machine with multiple needles, broken needles are a part of everyday life. My machine's needles are spaced about half an inch apart, and with my large, clumsy fingers, trying to replace a broken needle can be a nightmare. My fingers just don't fit comfortably in the space between them. This little tool is a godsend! The tool itself is 3 inches long with a needle holder on one end and a needle threader on the other. The needle is inserted into the end of…

Wonderful, just wonderful! (Photos attached)

I've always had trouble threading a sewing machine needle. I only recently found out about these little contraptions and bought them because the reviewers said "it worked every time". Refilling that tiny eye now only takes a few seconds. As others have noted, the instructions are sketchy. Give it a try a few times and you'll get the hang of it and will rarely, if ever, be frustrated by this necessary task. When I was successful, I kept practicing for a while because it was just fun. My only…
