Not sure if Pelican actually does it or not, but it's definitely durable, as are their holdalls. I bought a Pelican 1750 case to transport my 338 Lapua Mag for moose hunting. Having one of these locks on each of the two metal latches on the case gives me peace of mind that my rifle will reach its target safely and only the TSA will go into that case. and inaccurate like other TSA locks I've had) and the cable/lock mechanism seems much stronger than other locks in this category I've had. The body of this lock does not flex and it appears that it is designed to withstand heavy loads.
