Stupidity prevents it from getting 5 stars. Assembly was easy, the texture of the wood on the top and on the shelf is beautiful. However, the wood structure on the legs had some "bad spots". To screw on the shelf, the table must be placed on its back. Too much work for something so small. Imagine you are trying to drive a small screw into an oak tree. At some point I gave up and simply put the shelf on 4 shelf brackets. Good for my needs. Now comes my favorite pevé. Styrofoam packing material breaks easily into tiny round pieces. The carpet in my cave and the wooden floor are covered with tiny pieces of white styrofoam. I HATE THIS PACKAGING MATERIAL! Spend a few bucks more on a Leick for better packaging material. All the minor drawbacks aside, this is a good solid wood table for the price. If that's the style and size you want, go for it.
