Fast delivery. The price is better than other providers. The guarantee is better than the standard 2.5 HDD 5400rpm. I have 6 in ZRAID6 with 7 in hot standby. The only thing I wished for from WD was a red size 16mm for 2TB. They are very quiet and perform very well compared to the 10k SAS drives they replaced. Yes, they are slower. But I use them on a GigaBit network without LACP. So the performance of the HDD doesn't matter. It will never maximize them. I use FreeNAS. Recovery time is the same as any 5400 rpm, but not super fast. But it's much better to live with 10k SAS haha. I only back up a few folders each night. I checked all disks before installation. Everything went through and was able to run a single USB 3.0 SATA adapter. They really only gulp power under load. I love her so far. Used in HP DL360 G6. Disabled P410i controller and added Highpoint RocketRaid 2720sgl. FreeNAS with 48GB RAM. That's a killer combo. While HDDs are very quiet, 1U 8x40mm hairdryer fans are not. The drives are still working after 3 months of 24x7 operation. I make the most of my Gbps LAN when moving big data to Nas. Even after intensive use. I could not detect a temperature rise of +1ºC on any of the disc surfaces. So far very satisfied. Will update (again) if/when they run into problems.
