Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

I bought a 1 TB model WD10JFCX-68N6GN0 on September 25, 2022. At the time of writing thiscommment, it is already November 22, 2022. I took the disk to store important and not very important information in mycommputer. Just in case, every plus or minus six months, ofcomurse, Icompy important data to an external hard drive, just in case. I use it mainly for storage, and I don't actively use it. Neither the system is on it, nor the torrent downloads there. For my purposes, what you need. I hope…

Pros
  • Quiet Cold Good read and write speed (for hdd 2.5)
Cons
  • There are no cons for me

Already deceased in Computers and Accessories

The first symptom was installation errors and corrupted files. Then Win10 Blue Screen of Death and that's it. The return window is closed.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I'm worried

Works great on my home server.

This red WD drive replaces a blue WD drive that failed in a custom built compact server. This drive stores operating system and client backup files. It's super quiet, runs really cool, and 6GB/s is more than enough for this app. I wish it was available in 2 or 3 TB.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Available in white only

Wd red for NAS: Datastore

I prefer Seagate Western Google Drives. For work I have 4 Red 1TB drives in a Synology Nas and it's been running for over 6 years with no issues. And this is the drive I use for my home nas with 3 other red ones I've bought over time. For work. I've had many Seagate drives that always failed faster than Western Digital.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Cool and quiet on internal hard drives

Runs very cool, very quiet (nearly silent) and claims to be designed for 24/7 use - unlike most 2.5" drives. The great thing about discs is reliability, and only time will tell. But so far I'm satisfied. You'll take a performance hit compared to 7200rpm drives, but the lower performance, lower noise, and hopefully longer lifespan is a worthy trade-off for many applications. There are no random clicks when the heads are parked and near zero rotation and seek noise.

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

There is a need for SFF NAS. It's a great choice. amounting to 1 TB.

Fast delivery. The price is better than other providers. The guarantee is better than the standard 2.5 HDD 5400rpm. I have 6 in ZRAID6 with 7 in hot standby. The only thing I wished for from WD was a red size 16mm for 2TB. They are very quiet and perform very well compared to the 10k SAS drives they replaced. Yes, they are slower. But I use them on a GigaBit network without LACP. So the performance of the HDD doesn't matter. It will never maximize them. I use FreeNAS. Recovery time is the same…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
