I was looking for a highly pigmented gray silver matte eyeshadow with good pigmentation that was easy to apply and blendable. I wanted the grey/light gray to match the pale pink shadows. Medium to light grays are hard to come by, so I was glad to discover the LA Colors gray palette. It did not last long. I'm in my 50's but still have decent but pale skin. When I applied these eyeshadows they were very dry and didn't apply well. It was difficult to apply and blend, and the colors just made my eyes look bruised and tired. Within 2 hours it faded a lot and I looked like a raccoon's eyes. I didn't expect anything good from such a cheap product, but I expected a lot more than I got. While I may have put the bad color down to choosing the wrong shade for my complexion, there's no excuse for dryness, dullness, and difficulty blending. Matte shadows can still be well-pigmented and vibrant, and that was just a shame.
