Honestly, I fall asleep pretty quickly and don't usually use white noise machines. However, when I saw this particular device, I was immediately intrigued. The design of the device hidden under the book was simply smart, unlike simple devices on the market. Throw in the remote and voice commands and I just had to check it out myself. The voice command responds "My Lord, I'm here" every time you say "Magic Book". It has 8 built-in soothing sounds for you to choose from. You can even connect to it via Bluetooth and play your own songs through the speakers. The cover is just fantastic. It's actually textured with raised 3D images. When not in use it looks like a good hardcover book. The "book" opens and the pages turn into a colorful night light. A variety of sounds allows you to use it not only in a white noise car. It can be used for meditation, rest, relaxation, etc. It is powered by internal batteries that are charged via a charging cable (Micro-USB). It's also very portable (close it and carry it like a medium-sized book). I am very impressed with this device. I would give this "work of art" extra starts if I could.
