Wash them 3-4 times before use.
These washcloths appear to be well made. How long-lasting they are remains to be seen, but they look and feel like they should last a while. Be sure to wash them at least 3-4 times before use. I washed them twice before using them and I still wringed brown water out of them the next few times I used them. A NOTICE. After using these washcloths for a few months, I suggest washing them in hot water to fix the color. Otherwise, wring out tinted water after at least the first 10-12 uses. I also like them and they seem to last a long time.
