I love that these lights have a flat back, it made things easier when I installed them myself along the deck railing. Although they come with clips I have used NM shackles, NM 3/4" (19mm) wooden shackle, this is a two nail clip that fits perfectly onto a rope lantern without crushing or crushing the lanterns body damage, with my left hand I held the rope fire and I used my left index finger to hold the shackle in place and hammered the top nail and then the bottom nail into the shackle's U-shaped design to prevent clogging. I found, that this was more effective than what came with the product. Regarding the light, I just wish the customer could install 3 colors instead of the factory one. I myself prefer red, yellow and green. Last but not least is the company great if you need any help, they responded to my email very quickly and helped me with resolved issues, a great example of what customer service should be.
