holes are 2x larger than the two packs you buy at the hardware store. A very large diameter hole will obviously let in more lint and hair than a smaller hole. oooh, even though they're cheaper, you'll have to clean the pipes more often than you'd like. We have pets so it's important to me that lint doesn't end up in the sewers. I personally don't think the meager savings are worth it compared to store bought fine mesh. I doubled and might consider using 3 at a time to try and catch more junk. I would not recommend them or buy them again.
