These tweezers are really sharp! I'm a brand new lash artist so I can't speak to too much experience with other guys but I can say the original set my boss gave me was fine when I got these I definitely preferred them. Very sharp, accurate and honest value for what you get (I have 5 packs that come with it), you can't go wrong. Especially if you are making toms, it comes with a "boot" tweezers and two curved tweezers that you need to make fans. Personally, I think the case is very important because I know that if you drop them, they're useless. Even my very experienced extension friend was impressed and commented on them and asked where I got them from!
