Great package for the price

I just received my package this week. I loaded and unloaded my pack a few times to prepare my load for the three-day, 63-mile hike the Florida Trail from Lake Okeechobee to Hobe Sound (ocean to lake). All materials appear to be very durable. I thought the stitching would be a little better reinforced in some places than another backpack I have, but it still feels solid and I don't see any potential issues. The zippers are strong, the sleeping bag compartment at the bottom is spacious and the waist and shoulder straps are comfortable. The main compartment, the side pockets and the rain pockets in the upper flap are very functional. The two aluminum stiffening ribs are strong and well placed. The rain cape is fully integrated, made of ripstop material, waterproof lined and seems perfect for heavy rain. I have a complaint. My waist is 32 inches but I have the waist belt tightened. It's kind of unsettling. You may lose weight during a long trip and may not have much room for adjustment. If your waist is less than 30 inches this probably won't work for you. Luckily I have a 30-31" waist when I exercise regularly and do a lot of cardio, so I should be fine with that. Unfortunately, my recent workouts are limited to carrying a baby through the day and heavy reps at 12-ounces -IPAs to shoot :) I will update my review if I run into any issues after 3 days of hard use UPDATE 7/2/2018: The package held up like a champ It was very convenient The waistband and shoulder straps felt great The only thing I wish it was a pound lighter but that's fine with me I can't justify paying double the price if I can't commute long distances on a regular basis I'm very glad I bought this pack !
