Wrong part size

I ordered these kits because they were listed in the installation guide for my Peerless faucet. When replacing my old cartridges and parts with new kits, I had a lot of trouble installing the spring and the little black washers. They didn't want to stay no matter what I did. I used a tool to press them in place and thought I had placed them in the right place. I completed the installation but my faucets were still dripping. I had to call a plumber to see if he could find the problem. He told me the springs were too tall and even he couldn't squeeze them to shorten them. He also said the pucks were too big so they wouldn't stay inside. In other words, if the pieces were the right size, my faucet setup would work. Instead I had to call a plumber who changed the springs and washers to the correct sizes and ended up paying $118 for 15 minutes of work. I want my money back for the kits because they contained the wrong parts.
