I needed a receipt holder so I bought one. You will receive two when ordering. They are made of shiny chromed metal with a metal base and foam covering the bottom. It's heavy enough to be difficult to tip over, and the wide base helps with stability. I finally got through my receipt box (January-October) and put them all on the holder and it looks like it will easily hold a full year's receipts with space left. At first I thought the metal tip should be longer, but it isn't. I have over 130 receipts for a metal spike and it's only half full. A small black rubber tip helps you avoid accidental injuries. I highly recommend this product.
