Microsoft USB-C Travel Adapter Hub - Produces a high-pitched tone when connected. Sounds like tinnitus. If you connect other devices to it, the volume of high-frequency noise increases. It's really annoying, and to use the Travel Knot I have to put it in a little foam box to muffle the noise. I thought it was buggy but apparently this problem exists on other internet forums. I also noticed that the 127W Power Brick that came with my Surface Book 3 also makes high-frequency noise when the laptop is fully charged. I requested a warranty replacement for both the laptop (the screen turned off when disconnected) and the power adapter due to noise. It seems that high pitches are a universal problem, although only those with good hearing are likely to notice them. I wouldn't recommend it due to the noise and also because the USB-C slot doesn't support a second monitor. You must use VGA or HDMI.
